Our company was represented at the Forum and Reception organized on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of ACAROM – the Romanian Automobile Manufacturers Association – by Mr. Ciprian-Dan Costea, Ph.D, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, who received, on behalf of Autonova and the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Petre Mureșan, the anniversary plaque recognizing our status as founding members of ACAROM.
The Automotive Industry Forum, organized on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Romanian Automobile Manufacturers Association, brought together prominent representatives of European and national authorities for discussions, led by Mr. Nicușor Dan – President of Romania, Mr. Ilie Bolojan – Prime Minister of Romania, and Mrs. Roxana Mânzatu – Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, alongside Romanian Government ministers and political leaders, as well as important players in the automotive industry, led by Mr. Mihai Bordeanu – General Manager of Dacia and President of ACAROM, and Mr. Firat Elhuseyni – President and General Manager of Ford Otosan Romania and Vice President of ACAROM, together with Ms. Sigrid de Vries – Secretary General of the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA), and leaders of SMEs operating in the automotive sector.
For Autonova, the anniversary event also marks the active resumption of future growth based on our rich history, an objective that will materialize in the coming period through a significantly more dynamic and sustained presence in the industrial sector in Romania, Europe, and globally.

The Romanian Automobile Manufacturers Association represents the interests of over 170 companies, including Dacia and Ford, Romania’s largest exporters, along with SMEs, organizations, institutions and universities with activities in the automotive sector. The automotive industry generates a turnover that exceeds 10% of Romania’s GDP and holds a share of about 30% of total national exports. Companies in this industry have over 200,000 employees.
