Mr. Ciprian-Dan Costea, Ph.D., our Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, represented Autonova as part of the Romania-Germany Industrial Cooperation Delegation in the field of Security and Defense, organized by AHK Romania in Bavaria.
It was an excellent opportunity to directly explore the German industrial ecosystem and take concrete steps towards implementing our new strategy.
The economic mission included visits to companies such as Rheinmetall MAN, Diehl Defence, and Mipa SE, as well as a series of relevant and valuable meetings at the Munich Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK fur Munchen und Oberbayern), following the “Romania-Bavaria Conference on Industrial Cooperation in Defense”. The conference was honored by the presence of government representatives at ministerial and state secretary level, as well as diplomats from both Romanian and German side.
Mr. Costea also participated in the “Defence – A Chance for Suppliers” conference, organized by the Coburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK Coburg). The event brought together Bavaria’s industrial ecosystem and internationally renowned experts in the fields of security and defence, representatives of the Bundeswehr, alongside companies active in this business sectors.
